Cool! Any information given concerning self-preservation and self-sustaining skills (living off the land) are "good things," especially considering the cost of living these days!

I believe wilderness survival or survival skills in generally (in or out) of society are necessary for an enduring life. I look forward to your future articles concerning growing foods!

And yes, it does take work, but who can put a price on survival and living on what the Lord has given you to survive on?

Thanks. I'll get more ambitious next year...either with more tomatoes, or a variety of foods. I kind of enjoy it, and it's a useful skill to have. So, it's a win-win.

Good deal on your tomatoe raising experiment. It has been a very wet year, thus far, in Kansas where I'm at. I have always loved gardening and I believe summer has has finally kicked in, so these sunny and hot days should cause the many green ones still on the vine to ripen quickly. Tomatoes are so versatile and delicious, that I look forward to their ripening. Yum! Good article sir!
